Dr. Fullmer is so wonderful. He has been my 2 kids primary since they were born and since then I’ve taken my step kids there as well. He has a really special and understanding way to approach even hard conversations as they have grown into adults from bed wetting, to constipation, to ADHD, to caution with “long term boyfriends”, or even just screen time and healthy living. My 6 kids are now 15-20 yrs old and he has been amazing through every stage and my kids have felt very comfortable telling him hard things and being honest. He is very open with me as well and is a great listener to the way we might like to approach things. He has really been so great. I appreciate him so much!
Dr. Miller is fantastic! We had a great experience with our new pediatrician. He was kind, attentive, and really took the time to listen and explain things clearly. My child feels comfortable and cared for. Bonus—the wait time was short, which makes appointments so much easier. Highly recommend!
I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Lauritzen and Utah Valley Pediatrics!! I have been bringing my kids to Dr. Lauritzen for a few years now. I'm always impressed with the staff and nurses. They have ALL been friendly, helpful, patient and respectful. Dr. Lauritzen is very good natured and usually he's wearing super hero T shirts and jeans, which I think is less intimidating for the kids. You can tell he really loves what he does. He has the ability to be respectful of parents who have differing views or who ask lots of questions or express concerns--a quality that seems to be HARD to find in a pediatrician these days!! For example, once he prescribed my son an oral and topical antibiotic for a skin issue. I felt uneasy about the need for the oral one and after I expressed that, Dr. Lauritzen, respectful as always, said I could start with just the topical one. I did that and it ended up being enough to resolve my son's issues. If you've had bad experiences with past Doctors or you want someone who will respect you and your autonomy as a parent, look no further than Dr. Lauritzen and UVP of Payson! I can't imagine myself ever switching pediatricians as long as I live in the area. I feel like I have a pediatrician and office that I can really partner with to create the best health outcomes for my kids! Also, being able to call the office after hours when our kids have had health issues come up has been so great! It saves time and money being able to ask questions over the phone and potentially avoid the ER.
