Dr. Fillerup and the entire staff took such amazing care of our dog, Teddy. Teddy had a very severe case of pneumonia and was hospitalized for five days. Dr. Fillerup went above and beyond for him, even coming in after hours late at night to care for him, and he called me every day to keep me updated on how Teddy was doing. He is also incredibly knowledgeable and always took the time to explain everything clearly and in a way that made sense to me. Everyone was so caring, compassionate, and kind during an incredibly difficult time. I could truly tell how much they cared about Teddy and how dedicated they were to his care. I will always be grateful for the love and care they gave him.
10/10 Best Veterinarians we’ve seen! Doctors Ipsen and Fillerup were attentive and thorough. Carla is the nicest assistant. My dogs were not afraid of/timid around any of them. My favorite thing is that they MEET WITH YOU rather than “drop your pet off, we’ll look at them later.” Great care, easy scheduling, affordable pricing. We have gone to several vets over the years in Davis and Salt Lake counties. Besides providing vaccines, they did not actually help my dogs with their allergies. Their dental prices were more than $1000 for cleaning (plus more for any extractions, etc.). My female Shih Tzu had terrible allergies, scooting, licking her bum raw, etc. Banfield in Layton said “we expressed her anal glands, she should be good to go!” The next week, she was licking and itching again. Took her back to Banfield and they said it was just an impacted gland, “fixed” that, and gave her back to us. My dog was miserable. Finally, we take her to Payson Family Pet Hospital and after I explained what we were seeing, Dr. Ipsen examined her and suggested we start treating her for allergies. A few days into her medications, her skin cleared up, she wasn’t scooting or itching. Amazing! We are currently on some allergy medications but Sofie can live her best life!!! We took my second dog to them as well. We experienced the same attentiveness. Dr. Fillerup examined a few small cysts on my dog’s back. I LOVE that they have in-person appointments. It makes such a difference in the experience my dogs have. Thank you!!!!!
Gilbert just loves coming here. He loves the shots and the oral meds and the dog treats. He can’t wait for his yearly physical . The doctors and the staff thinks he is the cutest mini schnauzer in all the land.
