Customer Reviews
I love coming here. They’ve got racquetball courts, and a great swimming pool. I’ve been teaching my kids to swim here, and it’s been great. Their hours are nice, since other pools close earlier. And of course they’ve got other exercise stuff, but I can’t afford to do that kind of stuff. (Their body scanner says I only have 6 lbs of fat…..so I’m gonna go eat some more)
Under rated doesn’t even begin to describe how amazing this facility is. I started coming here five years ago after the renovation and it’s still my favorite place to be in all of Utah! The views feel like you’re in park city and the facility feels like a private clubhouse for VIPs only. The group fitness classes and recreational classes they offer are incredible and they have variety to fit almost every need. I also love that it’s located in a high school so they have the outdoor tract right next to it so when the weather is good, I run out there instead of inside. Their swimming pool area was recently renovated as well and it’s been wonderful. The only thing I wish they had, is rinsing spouts right outside of the pool so people can rinse before jumping in the pool and so they since after hot tubbing or being the the steam room and then jumping into the pool. Did you know sweat is worse than urine? So when people walk out of the steam room and straight into the pool, it makes me want to throw up. OTHER THAN THAT. This place is PERFECT. Here’s a list of things your kids can do while there: -rock climbing -indoor playground -basketball - pickleball -kids Zumba classes -child daycare (additional cost) -living room space with TVs and video games. -swimming pool , slides and little water park
The Orem Fitness Center is a solid community gym with a lot to offer. I’ve used the facility for workouts and recreational activities, and it’s always been clean and well maintained. The equipment is in good condition, and there’s enough variety to support different fitness routines. Staff are helpful and keep things running smoothly, even during peak hours. It’s a reliable place to work out and stay active, and it feels designed for regular community use rather than just drop-ins.

What reviewers mention · AI summary
Orem Family Fitness Center is a well-maintained community facility with strong appeal for families, offering a swimming pool, racquetball courts, rock climbing, basketball, pickleball, and diverse group fitness classes alongside standard gym equipment. Most members report the facility is clean, well-staffed, and reasonably priced for the breadth of amenities. A small number of reviews note limitations: one parent reported the pool temperature felt unsafe for infants and toddlers compared to professional safety guidelines, and another experienced significant wait times for strength training equipment during early morning hours, with limited free weight selection at the upper end.
