What reviewers mention · AI summary
East Mountain Dental has a 4.6-star rating across 649 reviews, but multiple recent reviews raise concerns about changes since the previous owner's retirement. Several patients report aggressive upselling of unnecessary treatments (extra crowns, cavities, and procedures that second opinions later contradicted), high staff turnover among dentists, and billing issues including unexpected charges to credit cards. Hygienists are consistently praised, but complaints also mention office cleanliness, worn furniture, delayed appointments rescheduled same-day, and inadequate pain management follow-up. Long-time patients express particular disappointment with the shift from the earlier practice standard.
