I booked my appointment with Sophia from Wyoming and I couldn’t be more happy with my cut. This was a big leap for me from the standard great clips cut and it was money and time well spent! Sophia made me feel comfortable and helped me understand what she thought was best with my hairstyle and gave me great advice for how to style and keep me looking fresh till my next cut. 10/10 recommend, will absolutely book with her again in the future.
I rarely, if ever, post reviews online but I need to give a shout out to Bao (Bao Wow)! An amazing experience and a very good haircut. I consider myself a very picky client (thick, coarse, wavy hair) and I have high standards for the barbers I choose. I think a lot of men choose their barber mostly for the social experience and some pampering, but less are as concerned with the actual quality of the cutting techniques. Bao does both VERY well. The service is not inexpensive (well above $100 with tip), but I received as much pampering as I've ever had in the chair. The standard at City Barbers is already pretty high - with shampoos, blow dry styling, massages, hot towels and neck shaves complimentary - but Bao exceeded even this. I literally lost count of the number of different massages he and his wonderful assistant (Amy I believe was her name) provided. Head and neck, hand, back, hot stone... crazy. His technical cutting ability and understanding of hair growth / directional cutting was really impressive as well. For those with anything but perfectly straight hair, having a barber that can style longer lengths in addition to edge work/fades/tapers really makes a difference. Great job Bao!
An amazing experience! I had needed a trim up and didn’t know where to go, so I had tried this place. My barber was Sophie and she did an amazing job with my hair. She cut to exactly how I wanted it, styled it, and washed and cleaned my hair. In fact, the washing station for your hair has to be one of the best experiences I’ve had compared to other salons and barber shops. I will definitely be going here again.
